Great little light for the price.
I just received this yesterday and my 9 year old son really likes it. It is very small lightweight and can be clipped to a book or laptop computer or even placed standing-up on a nightstand. There are 2 clips on the unit: The one in the picture slips over a book. There is another one on the back that is spring-loaded and can be pulled out to put the light on a laptop computer.
The telescoping arms don't extend very far (maybe 6-8") but it is fine for the intended purpose. One great feature is the rotating head. It can rotate 360 degrees so that you can aim the light exactly where it is needed. The beam is wide enough to easily light up a full-size book even when attached directly to it. The light also has a 3-way on/off switch that cycles between full-on a bit dimmer and off. This is nice if the full-on is too bright for you.
